In plain terms: you have 30 calendar days from the day the mat arrives. You email support first for the return address and send photos, and the mat goes back brand-new in its box at your own shipping cost.

What does the earthing and grounding science actually say?
Two different things.
The physical fact, connecting your body to a real ground pin, is uncontroversial electrical engineering.
The health claim, that this improves inflammation, cortisol, sleep, or immunity, rests on a small and contested slice of earthing research, including a 2012 review in the Journal of Environmental and Public Health (Chevalier, Sinatra, Oschman, Sokal and Sokal, DOI 10.1155/2012/291541), with documented conflicts of interest among some of its authors, small unblinded samples, and no independent replication at scale.
No study we found tested the Bareflowmat itself.
Do I need to be barefoot to use it?
Per the seller's own FAQ: "Yes, or have the mat touching bare skin directly. Socks, shoes, or clothing can block the grounding connection from working effectively."
The seller also says it is safe to use overnight in bed and to leave plugged in continuously, since the mat itself draws no power.

- "AMERICA'S #1 RATED GROUNDING MAT" is the seller's own superlative, with no ranking source we could verify; we do not repeat it as fact.
- Every customer quote and the named wellness-coach endorsement on the seller's pages stay with the seller; we do not repeat any of them as our own evidence, and we did not verify the coach's credential.
- The comparison table the seller runs against unnamed "Other Grounding Mats" is the seller's own claim, not something we could verify, so we left it out of this review entirely.
